Coventry’s Warwick Arts Centre will this Christmas present two festive shows based on the works of gay playwright Oscar Wilde.

Wilde Creatures (Wed 28 Nov - Sun 30 Dec) is an adaptation of the writer’s classic fairytales, and features ‘original live music, imaginative storytelling and a generous dash of comedy’.

The Canterville Ghost, meanwhile, is ‘a gruesome ghost story for brave souls aged 12-plus’. The show runs from Tuesday 18 to Sunday 23 December and then from Thursday the 27th to Sunday the 30th.

Both shows are presented by Olivier-nominated theatre company Tall Stories, whose previous productions include The Gruffalo and Room On The Broom.
