As we welcome back the unmissable Birmingham Bulls RFC Annual Touch Rugby Tournament… or as they like to say, come and Touch My Brum. Hundreds of inclusive rugby players are expected to be in attendance as the Birmingham Bulls RFC Annual Inclusive Touch Rugby Tournament kicks off.
Last year saw over 23 teams and more than 400 players and supporters from around the UK and Europe take part. Touch My Brum is one of the BIGGEST inclusive Touch Rugby Tournaments in the world, with this year expected to be the busiest, biggest most fiercely contested tournament yet.
Fair warning though - after their extraordinary success in the Bingham Cup, hosts Birmingham Bulls are looking to extend their winning ways by claiming the Calthorpe Cup back from last year’s winners, Carl’s Coyotes. This promises to be an explosive, fast paced tournament and a brilliant day out whether you’re a player with a score to settle or a touch rugby fan looking for a great way to spend a Saturday.
WHO CAN PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT?
The Birmingham Bulls are at the forefront of inclusivity in sports which is why Touch My Brum is OPEN TO EVERYBODY. If you can pick up a ball and run with it, you’re in. They welcome teams of any sexuality, gender, religion, ethnicity or age (although due to insurance policies, over 18’s only).
Teams are put into pools that match their ability and there are three accolades to be won depending on how well you do in the competition. Prizes include The Calthorpe Cup (which Birmingham Bulls have their horns set on), the Beorma Shield and Eden Tankard.
WHEN AND WHERE?
The 2018 Touch My Brum Tournament will be held on SATURDAY 21ST JULY 2018 at Sutton Coldfield RFC. Find them at 160 Walmley Rd, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, B76 2QA.

WHAT’S HAPPENENING AFTER?
What better way to celebrate your success (or drown your sorrows) with your new friends then to party into the twilight hours at the multi-award winning Bar Eden? Join the Birmingham Bulls team for night of great entertainment by the fabulous Mary Mac, excessive drinking (please drink responsibly!) and good times.
Bar Eden is located @ 116 Sherlock Street, Birmingham, B5 6NB
