Late gay icon George Michael is to be the subject of a nine-metre mural which will be painted in the north-west London area of Kingsbury, where he grew up.
The artwork, which will be created by British artist Dawn Mellor, will be located on Kingsbury Road.
The commissioned work forms part of Brent's celebration as London Borough of Culture 2020.
It will be unveiled on 19 September and will celebrate the former Wham! star’s career.
Michael was found dead at his Oxfordshire home on Christmas Day 2016. He was 53. A coroner determined that his death was due to natural causes.
