Owners of Birmingham’s gay venue The Wellington will be calling last orders for a final time when the venue closes tonight, Saturday 16 March.
After 25 years of trading, proprietors Ken, Paul & Paul have decided to call it a day and retire.
But before they head off into the sunset, the Wellington team will host one last evening of fun and laughter, complete with special performances from Champagne Shirley and other drag acts on the local circuit.
