Los Angeles prosecutors are reviewing a sex crimes case against American actor Kevin Spacey.

NBC say that the sherriff’s department first submitted the case on 5th April and now the District Attorney’s Office’s Sex Crimes Task Force is reviewing the case for it to possibly move forward.

No further details were given. Police in London are currently investigating three criminal cases against him.

Last October, actor Anthony Rapp made the allegations against Spacey of sexual abuse. He claimed that when Rapp was 14 back in 1986, and Spacey was 26, Spacey made sexual advances towards him.

Spacey tweeted in response at the time: "I’m beyond horrified to hear his story. I honestly do not remember the encounter… But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior."

Many more men came out with accusations against Spacey.
