It’s official! Birmingham Pride is the UK’s best Pride event!

The two-day LGBT festival, which takes place tomorrow and Sunday, has been named the 21st best Pride event in the world in a special HomeToGo guide to the 50 greatest Pride events.

After researching hundreds of cities around the globe, HomeToGo selected a final shortlist of 50 locations that offer travellers the following: a growing Pride festival, vibrant LGBTQ+ nightlife, LGBTQ+ friendly laws, excellent travel connections, and affordable accommodation.

Commenting on the success, Birmingham Pride Festival Director Lawrence Barton said: “This is fabulous news and is brilliant recognition for all the hard work put in by everybody across the years to make our city’s Pride event such a stand-out attraction.

"To come out top of the UK’s brilliant collection of Pride events is a humbling experience. It makes all of us all the more determined to make Birmingham Pride an even more fantastic event in the future.”
