Gay comedy movie The Shiny Shrimps opens at selected cinemas across the Midlands today.


When an Olympic swimmer makes a homophobic comment on TV, he is disciplined by the national swimming body and forced to coach an up-and-coming and flamboyantly gay water polo team. 

It sounds loopy enough to be true, but is actually a fictitious comedy and a huge success in its native France.
