The Bible study minister for President Trump’s cabinet has said that lesbians and homosexuals are responsible for God’s wrath, of which the coronavirus pandemic is one manifestation.
Ralph Drollinger, who hosts the president’s cabinet’s once-a-week Bible study group, said that people who express a “proclivity toward lesbianism and homosexuality” - and who he claims have infiltrated “high positions in our government, our educational system, our media and our entertainment industry” - are “largely responsible for God’s consequential wrath on our nation”.
Two members of the US government’s coronavirus task force are regular attendees of Drollinger’s Bible study - health secretary Alex Azar and urban development secretary Ben Carson.
Vice president Mike Pence, meanwhile, who is also a coronavirus task force leader, is a listed host of Drollinger’s blog, Capitol Ministries.
