Getting bigger and better each year, Coventry Pride is taking the theme of ‘#BeYou’ this weekend.

Kicking things off is a walking parade through the streets of the city. The parade is scheduled to depart from the Cathedral Ruins at approximately 11am and end at University Square, where the weekend’s shenanigans will continue.

Pride-goers can enjoy entertainment on three separate stages. The main one, the Phoenix Stage, hosts more than 25 acts across the weekend. Highlights include performances by X Factor star Lloyd Daniels and Bizarre Inc vocalist Angie Brown.

If acoustic music is more your thing, then head to The Herbert, where you’ll find the Three Spires Stage. Cabaret lovers, meanwhile, should check out the Lady Go-Diva Stage.

There’ll also be a range of community stalls, markets, a family funfair and a health & wellbeing zone to enjoy.

In short, this is one time when being ‘sent to Coventry’ should prove to be an absolute joy!

Coventry Pride takes place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June, in and around University Square. For more information, visit coventrypride.org.uk!
