Jane Fonda has confirmed not only that there's a 9 to 5 sequel in the works but also the old gang will be reunited!
Yes indeed, Jane teams up with Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton! The 1980 film tells the story of three women working in the same office all sharing a useless, sexist boss.
Speaking at an event promoting an upcoming HBO documentary about her life, Jane announced, "Right now, Dolly, Lily and I are all intending to be in it."
Jane doesn't think the situation has improved too much for women in the workplace over the 40 years since the films release: "I'm sorry to say the situation is worse today... a lot of the work force is hired by an outside company. Who do you talk to if you have a problem?"
But she does belive taht things are changing slowly, "I do think sexual harassment will tend to drop," she said, - "Guys are scared."
