Elton John to help produce gay-themed Broadway play
POSTED: Sat 13 February 2010Gay singer Elton John is reportedly planning to help produce a gay-themed play on Broadway.
Entitled Next Fall, the play tells the story of a gay couple in a five-year-relationship who struggle with their religious differences. John and his partner, David Furnish said in a statement: “We are excited to join the team bringing Geoffrey Nauffts' extraordinary play to Broadway. After fulfilling experiences bringing new musicals to the stage, it was seeing this inspiring and timely new work that attracted us to take on our first play."
