Crime charity seeking volunteer
POSTED: Wed 27 January 2010

Crime charity Victim Support is asking people in Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to work as volunteers to support individuals who have experienced crime, or who are to give evidence as a witness in court.

Victim Support deals with victims of all types of crime. As a national charity, it’s independent of the police and criminal justice agencies. Last year it supported 20,000 clients in the three aforementioned Midlands counties alone.

Victim Support has arranged an open day on 6 February for people who are interested in volunteering. Telephone 01743 362812 or 0845 126 4101 to get an invitation to the open day.
