POSTED: Wed 27 January 2010
Organisers of the UK’s largest gay and lesbian ball have announced that they are looking to raise funds at the event in aid of the Haiti LGBT community.
The Birmingham Gay and Lesbian Pride Ball 2010, which is once again being held at the city’s prestigious International Convention Centre, is hoping to raise a substantial sum for the Haiti disaster, as well as for Midlands HIV/AIDS charities and local gay organisations.
Last year over £20,000 was raised at the high-profile event, which this year takes place on Friday 26 March.
Organisers have revealed that record ticket sales are expected. You can book online at www.gayball.co.uk or call Jess on 01743 281722.
